Resource Management Business Strategy Lead In this role, you will lead enterprise-wide resource management strategy, ensuring optimal alignment between workforce supply and client demand across a complex professional services organization. You will oversee senior resource management leaders and guide staffing, utilization, and capacity planning decisions that directly impact revenue, margin, and delivery performance. Acting as a key advisor to executive leadership, you will help shape workforce strategy, governance models, and operating rhythms across multiple business units. You will also drive consistency in forecasting, reporting, and resource allocation practices while improving decision quality through data-driven insights. This position plays a critical role in scaling workforce operations and enabling sustainable organizational growth. You will operate in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment requiring strong influence, collaboration, and strategic thinking.Accountabilities: Lead and develop Resource Management Strategy Leads across the enterprise, ensuring consistent execution, coaching, and alignment of priorities across all business units and geographies.Define and drive enterprise-wide workforce strategy, including demand and capacity planning, utilization optimization, and governance frameworks for staffing decisions.Translate executive priorities into structured operating rhythms, including forecasting cycles, leadership reporting, and cross-functional alignment forums.Provide strategic advisory support to senior leaders on staffing trade-offs, workforce planning, and decisions impacting revenue, margin, and talent development.Oversee enterprise reporting standards and workforce analytics (demand, capacity, utilization, pipeline, bench, skills) ensuring consistency and actionable insights.Coordinate complex, cross-business staffing for high-priority initiatives and resolve escalations beyond managerial authority.Champion AI-enabled and data-driven resource management practices in collaboration with technology and operations teams.Drive continuous improvement of enterprise workforce planning processes, systems, and governance models.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.8+ years of experience in resource management, workforce planning, business operations, or human capital roles within professional services.Proven leadership experience managing managers and developing high-performing teams.Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization without direct authority.Deep business acumen in consulting or professional services environments, including understanding of utilization, margin, capacity, and growth drivers.Experience designing, scaling, and improving enterprise processes, reporting systems, and workforce models.Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Smartsheet, Visio, or SharePoint is a plus.Experience leveraging data and AI-enabled insights for decision-making with strong governance and oversight.Excellent communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Benefits: Competitive base salary range: $165,000 $230,000Total estimated compensation range including incentives: $214,500 $299,000Annual performance-based incentive compensation programMedical, dental, and vision insurance coverage for employees and dependents401(k) retirement plan with generous employer matchEmployee stock purchase planGenerous paid time off (PTO) policyPaid parental leave and adoption assistanceEmployee wellness programs, including health screenings and coachingRemote work flexibility (role aligned with Central Time Zone working hours).
