Our team of compassionate professionals are united by one goal: meaningful progress for every child and family we serve.Position OverviewDragonfly Cares is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our school-based team to support children with autism and developmental disabilities. This role is ideal for BCBAs who want meaningful school-based work, stability, and work-life balance, with the option to pick up additional cases if desired throughout Long Island.What You'll DoConduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students with behavioral and developmental needs. Provide direct and consultative behavioral services to students within school settings. Train, coach, and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff in implementing behavior intervention strategies and evidence-based practices. Collect, analyze, and interpret student behavioral data to monitor progress and guide treatment decisions. Ensure treatment fidelity and provide ongoing feedback to school staff implementing behavioral interventions. Collaborate with special education teams, school psychologists, administrators, and related service providers to support student success. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute behavioral expertise to student educational planning. Develop individualized goals and monitor student progress toward behavioral and social skill objectives. Provide crisis management strategies and behavior support when necessary. Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and compliance with school district, state, and BACB standards. Support the development of positive behavior support systems within classrooms and school environments. Provide staff professional development or workshops on behavior management. Supervise RBTs or behavior technicians when assigned.
