Structural Design Engineer

Role : Structural Design Engineer Location : Houston, Texas Duration : Fulltime Skills: Ansys, AutoCAD, Mathcad, Offshore Rigs, Offshore Structures, Oil and Gas Extraction, Oil Energy, SolidWorks, Staad Pro Job Description: · Cyient Inc. has an immediate opening for a Structural Design Engineer to work with our Plant Engineering team in the greater Houston, TX area. · You should have 6+ years of experience in the design of offshore oil platforms, foundation and fabrications. · The ideal candidate will have experience in the Oil & Gas industry, and Finite Element analysis using Ansys and Staad Pro software. · This is an onsite position in Houston, TX. · All candidates must be able to report to the location daily. You Will: · Design offshore platforms, structures, layouts, foundations and fabrications. · Estimate required labor hours and determine project scheduling · Prepare complete work packages for all designed structures · Quality Check drawings prepared by internal design teams. · Participate in project meetings with customer. You’ll Need: · 6+ years of experience in offshore structure design, layouts, Platform design, foundation design and fabrication drawing. · Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline · Experience with Finite Element analysis using Ansys and/or Staad Pro for engineering calculations. · Experience in creating 3D model of ship in AutoCAD and Solidworks. · Experience in preparing As-built drawing · Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen during hiring process.
