Human Resources Manager (Float)Cassia, a nonprofit, senior living organization, has a rare opportunity and is hiring a Human Resources Manager (Float) to join our team at Emerald Crest, renowned assisted living memory care homes in the west and south Twin Cities Metro, and our Home Office in Edina, Minnesota. If you love to jump in and work with a variety of teams/needs and are willing to utilize your skills to ensure HR and payroll operations are running smoothly and efficiently, this is the position for you. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for our Emerald Crest locations an occasionally at our Home Office. You will be responsible for working at our senior living campuses as a traveling/interim HR Manager, supporting locations with a short-term need due to job transition, LOA, or vacation.Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position splitting your time between Emerald Crest Locations & Home Office Wage Range: $68,000 - $78,000 Annually depending on experience Locations: Burnsville: 451 East Travelers Trail, Burnsville, MN 55337 Shakopee: 1855 10th Avenue West, Shakopee, MN 55379 Minnetonka:13401 Lake Street Extension, Minnetonka, MN 55305-4905 Home Office: 7171 Ohms Lane, Edina, MN 55439Human Resources Manager Responsibilities:Collaborate with department managers to interview as needed and send out job offers.Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires including background checks, references, license verifications and communication with new hires.Schedule and assist with new hire orientation.Answer employee questions regarding HR, benefits, payroll and leave of absence.Process new hire and termination paperwork.Coordinate benefits and process enrollments, changes, and terminations for all benefit plans in a timely and accurate fashion.Work with staff and managers to administer HR policies (i.e. leave of absence, workers compensation, OSHA, pay policies) and employee retention.Manage unemployment claims.Assist the Home Office during the annual open enrollment period for benefits.Record, maintain, and update employee information in payroll/HRIS system and employee files.Will help/ be the backup for the day-to-day payroll related items and processing bi-weekly payroll.Oversee online training compliance.Ensure performance evaluations are completedOther duties as assigned.Human Resources Manager Qualifications:2+ years of experience in Human Resources including payroll responsibilities.Working knowledge of payroll laws and regulationsExperience using payroll and HR software; UKG experience a plus!Knowledge of Leave of Absence and Workers Compensation.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with other departmentsWorking knowledge of federal, state, and local HR and payroll laws and regulationsAbility to work at various senior living communitiesDemonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize tasks as neededAbility to maintain confidentiality regarding employee informationProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)Cassia Benefits:Competitive Pay with experience-based raisesTuition Assistance & Student Loan Forgiveness (site-specific)Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) & 403(b)/401(k) with Employer MatchComprehensive Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life Insurance) for Full-Time EmployeesEmployee Assistance Program with free confidential counseling/coaching for self and family membersPet InsuranceAbout Us: Cassia is a nonprofit, mission-driven senior care organization with over 200 years of experience.
