Veterinary Receptionist Duties & Responsibilities
We have a position for a welcoming and gracious receptionist who is interested in explementary client care.
If you are interested in going the extra mile for people and their critters along with taking care of details which can span answering phones to taking notes or juggling client needs, this is a position for you. We will train on:
Various opening and closing procedures
Greeting clients, answering questions and handling payments
Answering phone calls, screening for emergent cases and scheduling appointments
Handling incoming and outgoing mail and email
Updating patient charts and phone logs
Processing credit card payments and prepare bank deposits
Retrieving prescriptions, medications and food
Cornerstone experience is beneficial
In addition to providing excellent customer service to clients and ensuring that front desk operations run smoothly, the receptionist acts as the primary greeter when a client enters, alerts the appropriate technician or veterinarian of the client’s arrival, and processes the client’s payment at the conclusion of the appointments and balancing books at the end of the day.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
