Security Operations Manager Miami-Dade CountyNation Security is seeking an experienced and drivenSecurity Operations Managerto lead and oversee security operations across multiple client sites in the Miami-Dade area. This is a key leadership role responsible for operational performance, compliance, client satisfaction, and team development. The ideal candidate leads from the front, holds high standards, and consistently delivers professional, reliable, and safe security services. Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Team LeadershipOversee day-to-day operations across assigned client sites to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery Recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate security personnel Manage employee relations, coaching, and disciplinary actions in a professional and timely manner Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing guidance to supervisors and officers Client Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for assigned clients Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular communication and site visits Conduct service reviews and address concerns proactively to exceed client expectations Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure all personnel maintain required licenses, certifications, and clearances Monitor compliance with company policies, client contracts, and applicable regulations Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments Lead incident investigations and coordinate responses with internal teams and external partners Reporting & AdministrationPrepare operational reports, including staffing, incident activity, and billing documentation Support safety initiatives, corrective actions, and risk mitigation plans Evaluate staffing levels and deploy personnel strategically to meet operational and budget objectives Continuous ImprovementStay current on industry trends, technology, and best practices Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and operational performance Contribute to the development and refinement of internal policies, procedures, and training programs QualificationsExperienceMinimum of 5 years of operations or security management experience, preferably within the private security industry Licensing & EligibilityValid Florida Security License or equivalent certification Authorized to work in the United States Ability to pass a comprehensive background check Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team-building capabilities Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with scheduling systems, reporting platforms, and incident documentation tools Why Join Nation SecurityFlexible scheduling that supports work-life balance Professional, team-oriented work environment Clear opportunities for growth and advancement A company known for integrity, reliability, and high standards Nation Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity, inclusion, and providing a workplace where every team member can succeed.
