Warehouse Receiving Clerk - Favorite BrandsJob SummaryThe Warehouse Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring all incoming products are accurately received, inspected, and recorded in a timely manner. This role plays acritical part in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and invoices Inspect products for damages, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly Accurately enter received goods into the inventory management system Label, tag, and organize products for proper storage within the warehouse Coordinate with warehouse team members to ensure timely stocking of received goods Maintain clean and organized receiving and staging areas Communicate with vendors, drivers, and internal departments regarding deliveries Assist with unloading trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment (as needed) Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and warehouse procedures Support periodic inventory counts and audits Assist with other warehouse duties as assignedWork EnvironmentWarehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Preferred Skills (Not Required)Experience in beverage or distribution industry Knowledge of FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusRequirementsQualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required Previous warehouse receiving or inventory experience preferred Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift experience preferred, certification a plus) Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable attendance and punctuality
