Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job SummaryExigo Business Solutions is looking for an experienced, reliable Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join us in-office on a 4-day work week. You will take full ownership of client work, deliver accurate and timely financials, and help us maintain the high standards our clients expect. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a calm, focused office environment and wants a consistent part-time schedule with great work-life balance.You will work directly with the firm owner and handle a manageable portfolio of small-business clients. The goal is simple: get high-quality work off the owner’s plate so we can continue growing the practice with confidence.Role DescriptionPerform full-cycle bookkeeping for 8–12 monthly clients (AP, AR, bank & credit card reconciliations, journal entries)Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, reports, and supporting schedulesManage client payroll processing and related tax filingsHandle sales tax returns and other compliance filingsMaintain clean, organized client files in QuickBooks OnlineCommunicate directly with clients via email/phone regarding questions, adjustments, and deadlinesMeet all internal deadlines with consistent, high-quality deliverablesAssist with year-end preparation for tax accountants (1099s, trial balances, etc.)Qualifications3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience (required)Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (must be able to work independently)Excellent attention to detail and organizational skillsProfessional written and verbal communicationReliable transportation and ability to work in-office in Liberty, MO (no remote)Accounting degree or bookkeeping certification is a plus, but strong experience is more importantWhat We OfferConsistent 4-day work week (Monday–Thursday) with a 3-day weekend every weekCompetitive hourly pay with room to growModern, friendly office environmentDirect impact on a growing firm – your work will be noticed and appreciatedOpportunity to take on occasional extra hours or clients in the future if desiredNo micromanagement – we hire professionals who can own their work
