Licensed Hair Stylist

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair care and styling, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles, offering personalized consultations, and ensuring that clients leave feeling confident and satisfied. Responsibilities Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, coloring, styling, and treatments. Utilize knowledge of color theory to provide clients with the best color options for their hair type and desired look. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by following proper sanitation practices. Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on styles and products. Promote retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided. Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members as needed. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques, including straight razor cutting and hair threading. Manage appointments using MINDBODY or similar scheduling software to ensure efficient service delivery. Experience Previous experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in various hair care techniques including nail care is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Experience in store management is beneficial but not required. A valid cosmetology license is required.
