Learn more at www.hbfuller.com.Position OverviewThe Associate Technical Specialist supports laboratory and application-based technical service activities within H.B. Fuller’s Advanced Building Solutions business, with a primary focus on glass applications. This role performs supervised testing, sample preparation, and customer-support activities while developing practical skills in materials, adhesives, and processes. The position provides hands-on experience with clear ownership of assigned technical requests and opportunities for continued technical growth.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupport construction and testing of insulating glass units (IGUs) and laminated assembliesPerform physical property and compatibility testing per defined proceduresExecute application and laboratory test plans to support characterization and root cause analysisPrepare, ship, and track samples, IGUs, and supplies to and from the Center of ExcellenceMaintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and product inventoryDocument test results and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholdersSupport customer trials, demonstrations, and onsite visitsAssist with 5S, safety, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement initiativesMinimum RequirementsEducation: High school diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience, or an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related fieldExperience: Hands-on laboratory, manufacturing, or technical support experienceSkills: Ability to follow written procedures and accurately document resultsSkills: Clear verbal and written communication with technical and non-technical partnersWork Authorization: Authorization to work in the country of employmentPreferred RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fieldExperience: 1+ year supporting adhesives, glass, composites, or industrial substratesSkills: Experience with physical property testing and laboratory equipmentExperience: Exposure to customer-facing technical or application support workPay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.The salary for this role is $65,000-$84,000.In addition to your salary, H.B.
