We offer a unique opportunity to join a growing, community and client-focused company that is firmly rooted in its core values.ResponsibilitiesThe Insurance Specialist II supports the Commercial Servicing Team by monitoring required hazard and flood insurance for both consumer and commercial loan collateral. Responsibilities include setting up and processing insurance tracking items, reviewing insurance documentation, and responding to internal and external inquiries. The role requires strong attention to detail, sound decisionmaking, and the ability to work effectively within established procedures.Salary RangeThe salary range for this position is $17.00/hr. - $27.50/hr.. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate's relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.Key AccountabilitiesInsurance & Loan Monitoring:Track hazard insurance to ensure adequate protection of banksecured collateral.Process forceplaced insurance when required coverage is missing or expired.Review floodzone properties for each credit action and ensure proper coverage.Complete flood checklists and coverage calculation sheets.Monitor lifeofloan flood notifications.Documentation & Processing: Prepare commercial credit references and verification of mortgages.Assist the Commercial Servicing Manager with departmental projects.Customer & Internal Support:Communicate with internal teams including Banking Centers, Internal Support, and Compliance.Correspond professionally with insurance agencies and related vendors.Key Competencies for Position Productivity: Meets daily service level requirements with consistent quality.Problem Solving: Applies knowledge, research, and risk evaluation to make informed decisions.Communication: Provides clear, concise, and timely verbal and written communication.
