Project Manager, Change Management & Comms
CVP is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support healthcare transformation initiatives within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA). The Program Manager will serve as the single contractor point of contact with/for the VHA requests for SME support and any matter related to contractor performance on large-scale healthcare programs.This role requires extensive experience successfully managing large-scale programs encompassing multiple projects, with total lifecycle budget and complexity comparable to major federal healthcare initiatives.Serve as single contractor point of contact for VHA requests for SME supportManage all matters related to contractor performance and VHA interfaceLead large-scale programs encompassing multiple healthcare transformation projectsPlan, initiate, manage, execute, and close out complex healthcare programsSupport VHA mission objectives through disciplined program managementCoordinate cross-functional project teams and stakeholder communicationsMonitor program performance, budgets, and deliverables across multiple projectsManage program risks and develop mitigation strategiesFacilitate program governance and reporting to VHA leadershipChange Management & Communications Develop and execute change impact assessments. Support leadership engagement strategies. Develop communications materials (town halls, FAQs, toolkits, briefing decks). Establish feedback and sentiment analysis mechanisms. Track adoption metrics and stakeholder engagement levels. Provide recommendations to mitigate resistance and implementation risks.Education Bachelor's degree Experience Minimum 10 years as a Program Lead with proven extensive experience in large-scale integrated healthcare systemsCertifications Prosci or PMPHealthcare Focus Substantive experience with programs focused on Veterans healthcare and outreach (preferred)VHA Knowledge Knowledge and experience in VHA operations essential for successful stakeholder engagementLeadership Engagement Demonstrated ability to successfully engage with senior leadership teamsAssessment Skills Experience assessing strategic project needs and developing comprehensive response strategiesSecurity Ability to obtain US Security Public Trust Clearance (Low/NACI level)Availability Ability to work without sponsorship in the US indefinitelyDesired SkillsExperience supporting large healthcare organizations or federal government agenciesUnderstanding of program evaluation methodologies and improvement processesAdvanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for executive-level reportingLocationWashington, DC (Hybrid)Salary Range $150-165k(Based on experience)Please note this program is pending award.
