Location: 441 W Antelope Rd, White City, OR 97503 Pay: $18-$20/hr. DOE We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive intern to join the Maintenance Team this summer. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience while supporting a maintenance system migration project by assisting with the download, organization, and preparation of MRO inventory data and preventive maintenance (PM) work orders. This role will help ensure accurate data transfer between systems while also supporting the creation of work instructions and training materials to assist teams in using the updated system. Download and organize MRO inventory data for system migration. Review data for completeness and accuracy prior to migration. Assist with documenting processes and creating step-by-step work instructions. Support the development of training materials to help teams transition to the new system. Maintain organized records and version control for project documentation. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education: Attending a four-year college or university to attain a degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; or already awarded bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university. Clear written communication and documentation skills. Strong attention to detail and organization skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams/SharePoint). Interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional plant teams. Ability to observe processes and translate them into step-by-step instructions. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to make effective presentations on complex topics to plant management and other stakeholders. Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment can be moderate.
