We recently completed a multi-million-dollar renovation which included expanded summer seasonal dining, a new Grille Room, State of the Art Fitness Center, Aquatics Center and a Relaxation Spa!The BHYC Benefits Package for seasonal employees includes:FREE employee meals- lunch and dinner programDiscounts on BHYC Retail and Spa merchandiseOn-the-job training- we train all skill levels!Employee referral program bonusesProfessional Development OpportunitiesUniform AttireFlexible SchedulingIf you are looking for a fun place to work with some of the best views in Northern Michigan, look no further than Bay Harbor Yacht Club!Job Duties:Assists with receiving kitchen product and assessing inventoryHelp maintain proper storage and upkeep of china, glassware, silverware and cooking utensils.Performs necessary cleanup and maintenance of the food preparation and storage facilitiesStores and distributes food and beverage products and supplies throughout the kitchenCleans and maintains banquet and service equipmentPresent at all times on his/her station during peak service timesMaintain lines of communication with dining and kitchen staffReport any machine repairs as needed to maintenance and managementProperly collect and dispose of wasteEnsures that workstation and equipment are clean and sanitary throughout the work shiftClose the dish station including putting away all dishes, taking out and rinsing all catches from the dish machines.Adheres to state and local health and safety regulationsMaintains the highest Food Quality and sanitary standardsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:1-2 years experience in culinary field or related areas preferredHigh School Diploma or in related field preferredMust have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required.Must be able to work some weekends, evenings and/or holidaysJob Competencies:Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills to prioritize work activities
