The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Cabinet Vision, understands shop operations, and enjoys collaborating with project managers, production teams, and leadership to drive successful outcomes.Position OverviewThe Senior Cabinet Vision Engineer will play a critical role in the engineering department by developing accurate shop drawings, optimizing Cabinet Vision libraries, and supporting production with detailed engineering documentation. This individual will also help strengthen processes and workflows that improve efficiency across projects.This role requires someone who understands the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and project execution within a woodworking or casework environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering & Technical DevelopmentDevelop detailed shop drawings and production-ready engineering packages using Cabinet VisionTranslate architectural drawings and design concepts into accurate manufacturing documentationEnsure all drawings meet project specifications, construction requirements, and company standardsCoordinate with project managers and production teams to ensure smooth project executionCabinet Vision ExpertiseBuild, maintain, and optimize Cabinet Vision libraries, assemblies, and standardsConfigure parametric parts and automation to increase efficiency and reduce engineering timeSupport CNC programming and integration with manufacturing equipmentProject CollaborationReview architectural plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and constructabilityParticipate in engineering reviews and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycleProvide support to project management and shop teams regarding engineering detailsProcess ImprovementIdentify opportunities to streamline engineering workflows and improve production accuracyAssist with standardization of engineering processes and documentationContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering departmentQualifications5+ years of engineering experience in cabinetry, casework, or architectural millworkAdvanced proficiency in Cabinet VisionStrong understanding of woodworking manufacturing processesExperience preparing shop drawings and production documentationAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings and specificationsKnowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing workflowsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projectsPreferred ExperienceExperience engineering custom cabinetry or commercial casework in Cabinet VisionKnowledge of CNC programming integrationFamiliarity with additional drafting tools such as AutoCAD or similar softwareExperience working closely with production and installation teamsWhy This Opportunity?Join a stable and growing woodworking manufacturerOpportunity to have a major impact on engineering standards and processesWork closely with leadership and production teamsBe part of a company that values craftsmanship, accuracy, and innovation
