Learn more at coinflow.cash.We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)—a hybrid between a software engineer and a customer-facing problem solver.In this role, you’ll take your engineering expertise out of the office and into the field: working directly with customer engineering teams, designing and implementing integrations, troubleshooting in real time, and ensuring smooth go-lives. You won’t just be writing code for Coinflow’s core product—you’ll be applying your coding skills, systems knowledge, and product intuition to help customers be successful with our platform.This role is perfect for engineers who love building but want to broaden their scope: spending more time collaborating with customers, shaping solutions, and solving high-impact technical challenges in production environments.Solution Design & DeploymentWork directly with customer engineering teams to design, prototype, and implement integrationsBuild proof-of-concepts and code snippets that accelerate adoptionAdvise on tradeoffs, system design, and best practices for scaling payments infrastructureCustomer Onboarding & Go-LiveOwn technical onboarding from signed contract through production launchDebug live integration issues across APIs, SDKs, and payment flowsEnsure every deployment is smooth, stable, and optimized for long-term growthOptimization & ExpansionAnalyze transaction and integration data to identify bottlenecks and opportunitiesGuide customers in rolling out new features, payment methods, and advanced workflowsPartner with Sales to expand accounts through technical credibility and solution depthInternal ImpactTranslate customer challenges into product insights for Engineering and Product teamsBuild internal tools, documentation, and reusable integration assetsHelp shape the playbook for how Coinflow scales technical deployments globallyWhat We’re Looking For2–5 years of software engineering experience (or technical background)Coding ability in TypeScript and React, with enough fluency to debug, prototype, and teach othersGreat grasp of REST APIs, integrations, and distributed system data flowsComfortable writing database queries for debugging, reporting, and analysisExcellent communicator who thrives in customer conversations and technical workshopsCurious, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environmentsBonus: Experience in payments, fintech, or transaction processingWhy This Role is DifferentUnlike traditional engineering roles, this isn’t about committing code to our core product every day. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, qualifications and business needs.In addition, the employee who fills this role will be eligible for an equity grant, allowing you to share in the long-term success of the company.
