Project Manager – Data & Analytics (Azure)Employment Type:Full-timePosition OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale data and analytics engagements for an enterprise client. This role involves managing multiple teams (35–50 members), driving delivery outcomes, and working closely with both client and partner teams.The ideal candidate brings strong delivery leadership, a solid background in data and analytics, and the ability to guide both internal teams and client (FTE) teams toward successful outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery & Oversight• Lead end-to-end delivery of large data and analytics programs from initiation to completion.• Develop and manage project plans, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to scope.• Track progress against milestones and proactively address risks and issues.Team Leadership• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, QA, and architects.• Drive alignment and productivity across both partner teams and client (FTE) teams.• Foster a collaborative environment with clear ownership, accountability, and performance expectations.Stakeholder Management• Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders.• Communicate project status, risks, and milestones clearly and consistently.• Manage expectations and drive alignment across business and technology stakeholders.Technical & Delivery Guidance• Provide direction on data and analytics delivery, ensuring alignment with best practices.• Collaborate with architects and technical leads to validate solution approaches.• Guide teams on modern data platforms, cloud data engineering, and analytics solutions.Risk & Resource Management• Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans.• Ensure optimal allocation and utilization of resources across workstreams.Governance & Reporting• Establish structured governance and reporting mechanisms.• Track key delivery metrics including quality, timelines, and team performance.Required Qualifications & Skills• 12–15 years of experience in technical project management within IT services or consulting environments.• Strong background in data and analytics delivery.• Proven experience managing large teams (30+ members) across multiple workstreams.• Solid understanding of Azure cloud services and data engineering concepts (hands-on not required).• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, data warehouses, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).• Experience delivering fixed-price or outcome-based projects with structured planning and tracking.• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.Good to Have• Experience in retail, consumer goods, or manufacturing industry environments.• Familiarity with Azure data services ecosystem (ADF, ADLS, Synapse, Fabric, etc.).• Exposure to ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, or similar.• Experience identifying and driving account growth opportunities within existing engagements.• PMP or similar project management certification.If interest please share resume at prathamesh.bhalerao@bitwiseglobl.com or Sunil.sharma@bitwiseglobal.com
