SIPSS partners across the firm to deliver a modern, scalable, and competitive investment product ecosystem for Schwab clients.Within SIPSS, Investment Offers & Solutions (IOS) is responsible for managing our third-party product marketplaces (Alternative Investments, Managed Accounts, Mutual Funds, ETFs, Structured Products, Fixed Income, Annuities & Insurance, and 529) as well as our proprietary Separately Managed Accounts. Our mission is to provide a positive experience for Schwab clients that invest in these products, while growing a key revenue stream for Schwab.Within IOS, Managed Accounts Solutions (MAS) is responsible for the end-to-end management of our managed investing solutions, primarily Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs). To do this, we design and implement a strategic vision, maintain a robust product offering, develop new tools and research for clients, deepen third-party and proprietary asset management relationships, and work effectively with partners to deliver a best-in-class SMA offeringAs SMAs become an increasingly important investment vehicle, we are focused on improving our product line-up, platform and services related to SMAs. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to assist in developing and supporting strategic initiatives for our Retail and third-party Managed Accounts offers. These initiatives include addressing changing industry trends, evolving our business and economic model, pursuing market growth opportunities, intended to significantly enhance and expand our ability to meet our clients' needs for Managed Accounts, including evolving our platforms to be more modern and competitive.The Senior Manager is an individual contributor role that is vital to evolving the overall lineup of retail and institutional separately managed account offerings and supporting aspects such as offer development, positioning, enhancements, and pricing. The successful candidate must be energetic and enthusiastic about strategy, analytics, and financial services. The candidate will also need to be self-motivated, results oriented, and able to help lead strategic initiatives from initiation to execution.In this role, you'll report to the Director, Retail Managed Accounts.In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.What you haveRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree required5+ years of strategy, consulting, or product development/offer management work experience, preferably within a financial services firm or a top-tier consulting firmHigh degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity; comfort in a dynamic and fast-moving work environmentStrategic thinker, with ability to formulate compelling vision and strategy and translate that to actionable roadmaps and resultsExcellent problem-solving and data analysis skills, including ability to gather data and synthesize insights to understand client needs and business impacts to inform product designDemonstrated proficiency in storyboarding and translating data & insights into a compelling business case and recommendationExcellent project management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and work efficiently (independently and with teams), to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervisionSuperior communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability developing materials and effectively presenting to diverse types of audiences including executivesSuccessfully execute on multiple initiatives at the same time, autonomously, quickly, despite challenges, and with great attention to detailAbility to weigh multiple perspectives, gain consensus, and influence key stakeholdersGeneral understanding / familiarity with separately managed account offeringsAbility to create presentations and effectively present to and persuade stakeholdersExpert user of PowerPoint and ExcelPreferred Qualifications* MBA and/or equivalent post-MBA level experience preferred
