Noble supports more than 31,000 alumni, with 98% of students accepted into college and nearly 94% choosing to enroll.The RoleThe Director of Family Engagement will drive organization-wide initiatives to strengthen family voice, leadership, and home-school partnerships. Reporting to the Chief of Public Affairs, this role ensures that families are empowered as partners in student success and that campuses have the tools, systems, and support needed to foster equitable engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy and VisionDevelop and implement a comprehensive vision and strategy for family engagement aligned with Noble’s mission and broader strategic initiatives. Design and oversee a Noble-wide family engagement structure responsive to the needs of the communities Noble serves. Integrate family partnership strategies into key organizational initiatives and events to support meaningful engagement. Support and CoachingPartner with principals and campus leaders to advance family engagement goals. Provide resources, tools, and individualized coaching to site and regional staff to build a culture of family leadership. Lead professional development programs focused on family engagement, leadership, and advocacy practices. Systems and DataDevelop and maintain dashboards and systems to track progress toward family engagement goals. Lead the Family Experience Survey, including communications, data analysis, and coordinated responses to feedback. Implement a multi-lingual communication strategy to ensure consistent, accessible engagement with all families. Partnerships and AdvocacyCollaborate with community-based organizations and internal teams to strengthen family engagement initiatives. Identify and champion opportunities for families to participate in community and statewide advocacy in partnership with Noble’s Director of Government and Community Affairs. Work with family champions to address access challenges and support equitable participation. Ideal Candidate QualificationsAdvanced knowledge of family engagement, advocacy, and community organizing strategies that promote equity and student success. Demonstrated leadership experience in education, social services, or community-based initiatives, including project management and data-driven decision-making. Deep commitment to serving students and families in traditionally underserved communities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to build strong relationships and collaborate across diverse audiences. Skilled at coaching, training, and developing staff to strengthen family engagement practices. Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing complex initiatives in dynamic environments. Spanish fluency or proficiency strongly preferred. Minimum Candidate QualificationsBachelor’s degree; advanced degree in Education, Policy, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of professional experience in family engagement, education, community organizing, or social services. Meaningful leadership experience, including supporting or coaching staff in related initiatives. Experience working with diverse communities, ideally in urban or school settings. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
