Behavior Technician

*Job Summary* We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and energetic *Behavior Technician* to provide direct support to children and adolescents receiving ABA services. The Behavior Technician will work one-on-one with clients in home, school, community, or clinic settings under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with children, is patient, dependable, and interested in making a meaningful difference in the lives of families. The Behavior Technician will work closely with a Case Manager and BCBA, demonstrating initiative, professionalism, and strong communication skills to support students’ social-emotional and behavioral development within their environment. *Responsibilities* * Implement behavior intervention plans and proactive behavioral strategies within home, school, or community settings. * Provide *hands-on modeling, coaching, and feedback* to classroom staff on the implementation of behavioral strategies and supports. * Collaborate with staff to modify routines, and expectations to reduce challenging behaviors and increase engagement. * Observe student behavior and classroom dynamics to inform strategy adjustments and intervention planning. * Collect and document behavioral data to monitor student progress and support clinical decision-making. * Work collaboratively with the Case Manager and BCBA to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans across settings. * Assist in supporting children with emotional regulation, transitions, peer interactions, etc. * Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development related to behavioral intervention, classroom management, and early childhood development. * Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with agency and confidentiality standards. *Qualifications* * Prior experience working with young children in educational or behavioral settings, preferably home, school, community, or clinic settings. * Experience or familiarity with *behavior intervention strategies* and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). * Strong *communication and interpersonal skills*, with the ability to provide feedback and collaborate effectively with classroom staff. * Comfortable taking initiative, modeling strategies, and working hands-on alongside teachers and support staff. * Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including Case Managers and BCBAs. * Experience with data collection and documentation is preferred. * Professional, compassionate, and supportive approach when working with children, families, and educators. * High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in behavior analysis, special education, or early childhood education are a plus.
