Accrued time is available for immediate use; prorated first yearThe Kit Cutter I prepares Prepreg materials used for each kit designed for a specific part, according to Standard Work Instruction (SWI). This is an experienced individual, semi-skilled worker who operates machines, factory-related processing equipment, or vehicles. Has acquired skills from training and work experience, has limited autonomy, and works under moderate supervision. Achieves competency with skills assigned to this level.Essential Functions: Essential functions, including how an individual is to perform them and the frequency with which the tasks are performed; the tasks must be part of the job function and truly necessary or required to perform the job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.ResponsibilitiesVerify materials being used in accordance to the manufacturing plan; using a computer program to print out materials forms.Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning; reporting all discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor.Select the determined material, cut Prepreg material either using templates, 3 axis CNC machine or computer-based program according to Standard Work Instructions for each part, roll material into cardboard tube for support, and attach part tag in preparation for delivery to layup.Adhere to schedules and time allowances for production requirements; ensuring that the materials provided contain sufficient hours to produce a part without violating specification requirements.Required QualificationsAble to communicate questions and concerns with others in work group.Ability to read and understand detailed instructions.Ability to utilize computers and related technology efficiently.Excellent hand eye coordination; attention to detail.Skilled in basic math calculations and the use of measurement tools.Preferred QualificationsExperience in composites preferred.EducationHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredExperienceTwo years or more of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.Computer SkillsBasic computer skillsWorking ConditionsUsually work indoors.
