For additional information about our products and services, please visit www.pellaga.com.Position SummaryThe Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for developing and managing relationships with general contractors, architects, developers, property managers, and commercial end users to drive sales growth within the commercial construction market. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities, managing projects from prospecting through closeout, and coordinating internally to ensure successful execution of awarded projects.The ideal candidate is highly motivated, relationship-driven, organized, and experienced in construction sales, project management coordination, and specification development. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness DevelopmentIdentify and develop new commercial business opportunities within assigned territory.Build relationships with:General contractorsArchitectsDevelopersProperty managersConduct regular job-site visits, networking events, and client meetings.Track upcoming projects through bid platforms and industry relationships.Sales & Estimating CoordinationReview project plans, specifications, and bid documents.Coordinate with estimating teams to develop accurate proposals.Present product solutions and value engineering options.Prepare and deliver sales presentations and project proposals.Negotiate pricing, terms, and project scope. Project Management SupportAssist with project hand-off from sales to operations.Monitor project schedules and customer expectations.Help resolve customer concerns and change order requests. Specification & Product DevelopmentMaintain knowledge of:Commercial window and door systemsInstallation methodsEnergy codesBuilding envelope requirementsProduct performance standards CRM & ReportingMaintain accurate sales activity and project updates in Salesforce system.Track:Pipeline valueBid statusSales forecastsConversion ratesProvide weekly activity and forecasting reports. QualificationsRequired3+ years of commercial construction sales experience.Strong understanding of commercial construction processes.Ability to read blueprints and specifications.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and CRM software.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally. PreferredExperience in commercial windows, doors, façade systems, or building products.Existing relationships within the construction industry.Knowledge of Division 08 specifications.Experience working with architects and general contractors.
