Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily property operations, including leasing, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations for commercial properties
Support lease administration processes, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and lease agreements in accordance with legal standards such as Landlord-Tenant Law and Fair Housing regulations
Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite to input data, track rent payments, and generate reports for property performance analysis
Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilities management activities to ensure optimal operational efficiency
Conduct regular property inspections to identify issues related to property upkeep, safety compliance, and tenant satisfaction
Assist with rent collection, delinquency follow-up, and resolving tenant conflicts through effective conflict management strategies
Maintain accurate records through filing systems, data entry, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) updates to support audit readiness and operational transparency
Requirements
Proven experience in real estate administrative roles or property management within commercial settings
Strong knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 programs, and Fair Housing regulations
Familiarity with property management tools such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms
Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and relationship management abilities
Legal administrative experience related to lease agreements, contracts, and landlord-tenant law
Ability to handle conflict resolution tactfully while maintaining positive tenant relationships
Office experience with data entry, filing systems, and administrative support tasks
Knowledge of facilities management practices including property maintenance coordination and CMMS utilization
Effective negotiation skills for upselling opportunities and lease renewals
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, filing, and record keeping
