Tendering Manager
This role leads EnerMech's tendering and proposals function across the Americas, owning the full bid lifecycle from opportunity qualification through submission and post-bid review. The position is responsible for delivering high-quality, commercially sound, and technically compelling proposals that drive win rates and revenue growth.The Tendering & Proposals Manager partners cross-functionally with commercial, engineering, operations, and business development teams to develop differentiated, client-focused solutions aligned with EnerMech's strategic objectives.Job Discription:Lead and manage the end-to-end bid and tendering process across multiple projects and service linesDevelop and execute winning bid strategies to improve conversion rates and competitive positioningCoordinate cross-functional inputs (technical, commercial, legal, HSEQ) into cohesive, high-quality proposalsEnsure all submissions are compliant, timely, and aligned with client requirements and internal governanceAct as the central point of accountability for bid development, approvals, and final submissionDrive commercial rigor in all proposals, ensuring alignment with pricing strategy, risk management, and profitability targetsOversee bid clarification processes, including response development, review, and submissionManage and prioritize the bid pipeline to optimize resource allocation and turnaround timesBuild strong internal relationships across business units to enhance collaboration and proposal qualityEngage with external stakeholders (clients, subcontractors, partners) to strengthen bid positioningLead post-bid reviews to capture lessons learned and continuously improve processesEstablish and maintain best-in-class bid management processes, tools, and knowledge repositoriesMentor and support team members, fostering a high-performance, continuous improvement cultureEnsure all bids adhere to EnerMech's authority and approval matrixContribute to forecasting and pipeline planning based on tender activity and win probabilitySupport budget inputs tied to upcoming and submitted opportunitiesRequirementsProven experience in a senior-level proposals, tendering, or bid management role within energy, oil & gas, or industrial servicesStrong leadership and stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary teamsDemonstrated ability to manage complex bids under tight deadlinesSolid commercial acumen with experience in pricing, risk evaluation, and contract considerationsBachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related fieldFamiliarity with energy services markets (onshore/offshore, maintenance, shutdowns, etc.)Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPointStrategic thinker with a strong "win strategy" mindsetBenefits401(k) matching10 paid holidaysExcellent bank of PTOGenerous sick days policyBiweekly payShort-term and long-term disability coverageLife insurance coverage 1X SalaryStrong leadership and a supportive company culture that values growth and collaboration!
