We partner closely with executive leadership and internal teams to deliver flexible, scalable solutions ranging from day‐to‐day accounting support to complex financial and strategic initiatives.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our San Diego market who thrives in a fast‐paced, client‐facing environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work, as you will support multiple clients across different industries, systems, and business models.The ideal candidate is detail‐oriented, adaptable, and proactive, with a strong ability to manage competing priorities. You'll be stepping into environments where you can quickly add value, bring structure, and support key accounting functions with minimal direction.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport month‐end and year‐end close processes , including journal entries and accrualsPerform and review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completenessMaintain and analyze the general ledger and supporting schedulesAssist with accounting clean‐up projects and process improvementsPartner with client teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reportingSupport audit preparation and documentation requestsAssist with AP/AR, billing, and day‐to‐day accounting operations as neededWork within a variety of ERP systems (QuickBooks required)Communicate effectively with internal leadership and client stakeholdersQualifications5–7+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong experience with month‐end close and reconciliationsExperience in multi‐entity or complex environments preferredAbility to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities simultaneouslyComfortable in a client‐facing, consulting environmentStrong organizational, analytical, and time management skillsAbility to work independently and think criticallyExcellent communication and professional presenceProficiency in QuickBooks (required); NetSuite or other ERP systems a plusBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA is a plus)What Makes You Successful in This RoleHigh level of accountability and reliabilityAdaptability across different clients, industries, and systemsStrong attention to detail and accuracySolution‐oriented and consultative mindsetTeam‐oriented with strong collaboration skillsOwnership mentality with the ability to take initiativeCompensationHourly: $38 – $50/hourSalary: $80,000 – $95,000(Compensation varies based on experience, certifications, and system expertise)Why NOW CFOExposure to a diverse range of industries and clientsOpportunity to rapidly expand your skill setWork alongside experienced Controllers and CFOsCollaborative, high‐performing team environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
