Senior Program Manager

ComResource is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager fto support complex technology and business transformation initiatives. This position is ideal for an accomplished project and program leader who can take ownership of high-visibility initiatives, lead cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with executive stakeholders, and drive programs from strategy and planning through implementation and stabilization.Programs may involve enterprise technology transformation, ERP implementations, infrastructure and cybersecurity, AI and data platforms, operational improvement, M&A integration, and other strategic initiatives.We are looking for leaders who go beyond project coordination. Successful candidates will be comfortable challenging assumptions, influencing decisions, navigating ambiguity, identifying risk, driving accountability, and serving as a strategic partner to both business and technology teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead complex, cross-functional technology and business programs from initiation through implementation and stabilizationDevelop and manage comprehensive program plans, roadmaps, milestones, budgets, resources, dependencies, and deliverablesCoordinate multiple projects and workstreams while maintaining alignment with broader strategic objectivesPartner closely with engineering, IT, cybersecurity, product, operations, finance, HR, supply chain, and other business functions as appropriateBuild strong relationships with executives, technical leaders, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partnersIdentify and proactively manage program risks, issues, dependencies, resource constraints, and competing prioritiesDrive accountability across teams and influence stakeholders without direct reporting authorityEstablish effective program governance, reporting cadences, steering committees, and escalation processesPrepare and deliver executive-level status reports, presentations, roadmaps, and recommendationsTranslate complex technical information into clear business impacts, decisions, and actionable next stepsFacilitate planning sessions, stakeholder meetings, program reviews, retrospectives, and other program ceremoniesManage program budgets, forecasts, resource planning, and overall delivery performanceSupport testing, implementation, cutover, release, and change management activities as appropriateEvaluate project performance through metrics and KPIs and identify opportunities to improve deliveryHelp improve PMO processes, governance standards, documentation, and overall program management practicesEnsure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with organizational prioritiesRequired Qualifications8+ years of progressive project and/or program management experience, preferably within enterprise technology environmentsDemonstrated success leading large, complex, cross-functional projects or programsStrong understanding of technology implementations and the software/system delivery lifecycleProven ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities, dependencies, risks, budgets, and resourcesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong executive presence with experience communicating with senior leadershipAbility to translate complex technical topics for both technical and non-technical audiencesDemonstrated ability to influence decisions and drive accountability without direct authorityStrong risk management, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilitiesExperience working with Agile, Waterfall, and/or hybrid delivery methodologiesAbility to operate effectively in complex, matrixed organizationsComfortable navigating ambiguity, organizational change, competing priorities, and difficult stakeholder conversationsPreferred QualificationsEnterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations or transformations, including Oracle, SAP, Infor/M3, or similar platformsInfrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, or other enterprise technology programsAI, data platforms, software development, or digital transformation initiativesMergers & acquisitions (M&A), acquisition integration, or Integration Management Office (IMO) initiativesGlobal organizations and/or manufacturing environmentsPMO leadership, portfolio management, governance, or PMO developmentOrganizational change management and technology adoptionFinancial management, budgeting, forecasting, and business case developmentVendor management and procurementExperience with JIRA, Confluence, Planview, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow PPM, or similar project management toolsPMP, CSM, SAFe, or other relevant project/program management certificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
