Psychiatry - Child/Adolescent Physician

JOB DESCRIPTION:Medical center in Pennsylvania is seeking a Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join an existing group for the expansion of a new inpatient facility. Board certification and 5 years of experience preferred. New graduates also considered. Anticipated patient load would be 18-20 patients per day. This will involve rounding on the inpatient units and seeing psychiatry consults in the Medical Center. Highly competitive compensation and benefits including sign-on bonus. HOSPITAL:This independent acute care community hospital is the sole community provider in the area and nearly every specialty of medicine and surgery is represented by the active medical staff. Services include advanced imaging with PET/CT, MRI, 64-slice CT, nuclear medicine, and cardiac catheterization lab doing PCI without open heart backup. Other specialty services include a Wound Care Center, Women's Diagnostic Imaging Center, inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit, inpatient acute rehabilitation unit, outpatient Human Motion Institute, comprehensive sleep disorders lab, advanced neurodiagnostics lab, community dialysis center, weight management and bariatric surgery program, and an intensivist program.
