Supplier Quality Engineer Associate ManagerLockheed Martin is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer Associate Manager for a position based in Orlando, FL supporting the ATWS Program portfolio. The Quality professional will be responsible for the strategic leadership and performance of key suppliers, continuous improvement, talent development, training and knowledge continuity. The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert in the area of Supplier Quality Engineering. The position requires manufacturing experience / knowledge developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.What You Will Be Doing As the Supplier Quality Engineer Associate Manager, you will be responsible, but not limited to the following:Develop/execute supplier strategy in partnership with the ATWS GSC teamEnsure supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verifiedSupport the Supplier Integrated Product Teams and partner with the various production sites/centers with reviews of quality data on yields, rework, scrap and non-conformance agingAnalyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to very complexLead the Supplier Quality team in program corrective action meetings, identifying trends, assist in problem resolution and ensure responsible parties meet commitmentsCoordinate and/or perform assessments and audits on processes and procedures of supply base to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures and ISO-9001/AS9100Engage in supplier selection process and maintain certification programsInterface with customers, suppliers and program personnel on quality related issuesUtilize lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvementParticipate (as required) in supplier's failure/diagnosis and Material Review Board (MRB) activitiesFurther Information About This Opportunity: This position is in Orlando. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors level degree or higher in STEM and/or equivalent experience/combined educationMust have the ability to travelMust have ability to obtain and maintain a security clearanceAdvanced Quality Engineering or Analyst experienceIn-depth knowledge and experience in Quality processes and proceduresAdvanced knowledge and experience conducting PO reviews, source inspections, Special Process / QMS surveys, FAI's, and surveillance at supplier facilitiesStrong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, multi-task and meet deadlinesDesired Skills:Effective communication and presentation skillsAdvanced interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomesSTEM degree at bachelors' level or higher preferredA basic understanding of the MFC SAP and Procure to Pay (P2P) business systemsASQ Certification(s) and/or Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)Advanced AS9100, AS9102, AS9145 Interpretation and application experienceExperienced in Bid, Proposal and Estimating practices and development of Quality Assurance Basis of Estimates (BOE)Ability to implement strategy and meet performance goals / objectivesDemonstrates Full Spectrum Leadership attributes including: Deliver Results, Shape the Future, Build Effective Relationships, Energize the Team and Model Personal Excellence, Integrity and AccountabilitySecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
