We are hiring a SQL Developer with VB.Net for a 12-month onsite role in Charlotte, NC, or Plano, TX (3 days onsite). Open to USC, GC, GC EAD, and H4 EAD candidates. This role requires W2 engagement. The interview process includes a 30-min technical screening and a 1-hour virtual manager round.Description:Software Engineer with 7+ years of development experience using Microsoft technologies and who is a proficient individual contributor with minimal guidance. Responsible for hands on development, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Financial Crimes environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs/activities. Work closely with business partners in defining requirements and ensuring acceptance criteria is met for application changes. In-depth knowledge of development tools and languages is a must. Individual contributor role. Ability to partner with the multiple Technology teams to implement the target architecture and migration to strategic platformRequirements:10+ years of development using Microsoft technologiesDevelop, modify, and debug stored procedures and functions using SQL and SQL Server.Past working experience with AutoSys to start and stop the jobs.Good at understanding the application logic written using VB.Net or C#.Net.Good at understanding the complex stored procedure and function logic written T-SQL.Develop and Debug Desktop applications using VB.NET and C#.NETKnowledge of performance tuning data intensive applicationsStrong coding, debugging, and analytical skills.Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative tech-based solutions.Exceptional intelligence and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsSoftware development using agile methodology and processes.Degree from outstanding universityBackground in enterprise stress testingBS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
