Pre-Production Manager
A fast growing junior apparel company is looking for a pre-production manager who has at least five year experience in this industry. Below are the detailed responsibilities
1. Develops and executes in partnership with designer styles from initial concept to production
2. Develops and sources in partnership with designer fabric and trims.
3. Manage all samples to ensure their movement through the product development process in coordination with the development calendar.
4. Work with factories to achieve desired costing and margin goals without compromising design
5. Work with design to create cost tech packs and bill of material (BOMs).
6. Build and maintain development calendar, and cost charts for all categories
7. Identify and troubleshoot costing/quality control challenges along with design and resolve with vendors
8. Negotiate best cost with vendors

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
