This is a fantastic opportunity to join us at an exciting stage of our growth — and to build a rewarding career in a firm that will invest in you.About the RoleAs a Tax Associate – Enrolled Agent, you will be an integral member of our tax team, working directly with financial clients to prepare, review, and file a wide variety of tax returns. You will collaborate daily with our financial advisors to ensure our clients receive cohesive, well-coordinated guidance across both their financial planning and tax needs. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where your technical skills and your personality will both get to shine.What You Will DoPrepare and file accurate individual (Form 1040) tax returns for a diverse client base, including retirees, pre-retirees, and small business ownersAssist with preparation of business entity returns including S-Corporations (1120-S), partnerships (1065), and LLCsSupport the tax team with trust and estate return preparation as neededConduct thorough tax interviews with clients to gather information and ensure nothing is missedIdentify tax-saving opportunities and communicate planning ideas to clients and senior team membersRepresent clients before the IRS in audits, correspondence, and collection matters using your EA authorityRespond to IRS and state tax notices on behalf of clients in a timely and professional mannerCollaborate with financial advisors to coordinate tax-efficient strategies around investments, retirement distributions, Roth conversions, and moreMaintain accurate, organized client files and documentation in accordance with firm standardsStay current on tax law changes and share relevant updates with the team and clientsDeliver every client interaction with professionalism, warmth, and that extra touch that turns a good experience into a great oneWhat We Are Looking ForActive IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) credential — requiredMinimum 2–4 years of tax preparation experience, ideally in a professional tax or financial services settingSolid understanding of individual income tax preparation and familiarity with retirement-related tax issues (RMDs, Social Security taxation, Roth conversions, Medicare surcharges)Working knowledge of business entity tax returns (S-Corps, partnerships, LLCs)Experience with professional tax software such as Drake, or similar platformsStrong attention to detail — you catch what others miss and take pride in accuracyExcellent communication skills — you can break down complex tax concepts into plain language that clients actually understandWarm, approachable personality with a genuine enjoyment of working with peopleHighly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple client files and deadlines during busy seasonTeam player who contributes positively to office culture and supports colleaguesDependable, punctual, and professional — our clients and teammates count on youBonus Points If You Have…Experience working in a financial advisory, wealth management, or financial planning environmentFamiliarity with estate, trust, or gift tax returnsBackground serving retirees, high-net-worth individuals, or small business ownersExperience handling IRS audits or appeals on behalf of clientsExposure to financial planning software such as eMoneyThe Perks of Joining Our TeamCompetitive salary of $60,000–$65,000+ based on experience and credentialsPerformance-based bonus opportunitiesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchingPaid time off and paid holidaysOngoing CE support and professional development reimbursement to keep your EA credential currentA fun, positive office culture where your work is genuinely appreciatedMentorship and a clear path for growth within a firm that promotes from withinThe chance to work alongside experienced financial advisors and expand your knowledge of holistic wealth managementA stable, client-focused firm with deep roots in the Las Vegas community and a bright future ahead
