Server/Bartender

*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing friendly personality, passion for mixology and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional drink experiences for our guests while maintaining a clean and organized bar environment. Your ability to provide excellent customer service and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting will be key to your success in this role. All bartenders and servers at The Mod must be 21 years of age. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. * Provide exceptional service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and ensuring satisfaction. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. * Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages to management. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages. * Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service policies. * Handle cash transactions accurately using the Toast POS system or similar technology. * Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends, and menu offerings to enhance guest experience. Be willing to share our events and your fabulous creations on your social media. *Skills* * Proven experience in bartending or related roles within the food service industry, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments. * Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell beverages effectively. * Excellent mathematical skills for handling cash transactions accurately. * Knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage pairings. * Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive guest interactions. * A proactive attitude towards helping colleagues and contributing to team success.
