Test TechnicianVolt is immediately hiring for an RF Test Technician in Richardson, Texas.RF Test Technician, you will:Work closely with operations and engineering teams to support product dispositions, process improvements, specification updates, and manufacturing initiativesReview and respond to RF Test failuresDiagnose and resolve process-related issues by following documented procedures and established best practicesSet up, qualify, and maintain assembly process and test equipmentSupport engineering builds, process development activities, and continuous improvement initiativesCoach, train, and assist factory operators to enhance productivity and product qualityIdentify and implement improvements related to safety, quality, output, and cost reductionDocument findings, process updates, and corrective actions through logs, reports, and work instructionsThis is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:High School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate degree or higher in a STEM-related discipline preferred3+ years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment preferredExperience performing RF testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysisAbility to set up and qualify manufacturing and test equipmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and other statistical methodsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to effectively interact with operations, equipment support teams, and engineering personnelFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentEnthusiasm for learning and growing within the semiconductor assembly industryPreferred Experience:Semiconductor assembly and test manufacturing environmentsRF test equipment and data analysisYield improvement and root cause investigationsProcess development and continuous improvement initiativesHigh-mix, low-volume and prototype manufacturing operationsWork Environment:Factory manufacturing environment requiring cleanroom attire, ESD protection, and personal protective equipment (PPE)Bending, twisting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and standing for extended periods during 12-hour shifts will be requiredFast-paced production environment with frequent interaction between operations, engineering, and support teamsFlexibility to support changing business and production priorities as neededSalary:Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits:Since this is a Direct Hire opportunity, all benefits will be provided by the client.
