Information Security Audit and Investigations Supervisor

Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Section Manager of the Security Services and Compliance Section, the Information Technology Supervisor II (ITS II) will oversee and supervise the Information Security Audit Analysts and Investigators. The incumbent provides leadership, oversight, and operational direction to ensure investigations are completed thoroughly, accurately, and in compliance with policies and organizational standards. The incumbent will also participate in a wide variety of consultative, analytical, and evaluative assignments to ensure the security and integrity of Franchise Tax Board (FTB) information assets. Position Details Job Code: JC-513788 Number of Positions: Multiple Work Location: Sacramento County Telework: Hybrid Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Pay Range: $8,504.00 - $11,395.00 Desirable Qualifications Experience supervising professional staff Experience interpreting and applying/enforcing policies and procedures Information Technology (IT) experience Experience writing and reviewing reports, memos, etc. Experience with enterprise-wide projects or policies Experience working with external entities Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and quickly respond to urgent matters Ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate and direct activities of a high achieving investigative team Ability to interact with various levels of staff including senior management, Legal, Personnel, and external entities including law enforcement agencies Experience with administrative investigations and interviews Experience using various FTB systems (Taxpayer Folder, Case Management, Taxpayer Information, Business Entities Tax System, etc.) to interpret security logs Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines, variable workloads, and changing priorities Strong leadership and staff development skills to motivate, mentor and build a successful team Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff and management Ability to be flexible and think creatively to resolve complex and sensitive issues Knowledge of Franchise Tax Board's programs and operations Ability to present ideas and information orally and in writing Ability to apply appropriate laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures to produce desired results Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent time management Experience analyzing situations accurately, interpreting information and taking effective action to resolve problems/issues Involvement in a diversity of activities, program areas, and/or positions that have provided a greater understanding and appreciation for the broader perspective of the department/enterprise Demonstrated performance encouraging positive relationships, creating high job satisfaction, encouraging success, showing understanding and being supportive Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Equal Employment Opportunity is a core value of the Franchise Tax Board.
