They will learn, through hands‑on application, how to design a wide variety of low voltage projects. This person will work as part of the Engineering Team and interact closely with the Project Management Team to produce construction documents, assist in project specifications and assist in the construction administration process.The ICT Engineer II will receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects, tasks or assignments. May work independently, consistently exercising discretion and independent judgment on individual work, or may work under immediate supervision. May serve as lead on routine projects, tasks or assignments of limited scope.The ICT Engineer II will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.Assist in Production of Low Voltage System (ICT, Security, A/V) Engineering Deliverables (75%)Support the production of BIM / CAD deliverables including Revit models and AutoCAD drawings to meet the design requirements of the projectProvide project delivery support to the project team, including electronic document and BIM model management as required to facilitate project submissions and completion of deliverablesWork collaboratively with other technical trade leads (MEP, BAS, EPMS, ICT) to ensure multi‑discipline coordinationSuccessfully complete assigned BIM / CAD production work within the budget and deadlines as outlined by the project teamAssist in Pre‑Construction Activities (10%)Survey existing building conditions and prepare technical reports of findingsCollect data and other information for construction documentsPrepare project design and construction documentsBasic editing and writing of project specificationsAssist in Construction Activities (15%)Work as part of the engineering team and interact closely with the project management teamReview shop drawings and submittalsReview and respond to RFIsReview and complete punch lists and project close‑out documentsPrepare project progress reports for internal and external stakeholdersUpdate and maintain shop drawing and RFI logTechnology, Digital Tools & AI‑Enabled EfficiencyLeverage AI‑enabled and digital tools to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and support consistent, high‑quality work output.Identify opportunities to improve processes and demonstrate a continuous learning mindset, seeking out new technologies, skills, and methods that elevate individual and team performance.Adapt to emerging technologies and evolving digital workflows, actively supporting the integration and adoption of innovative tools across the organization.Completion of Assigned Tasks and Deliverables on Time and on Budget Performs Other Related Duties as Assigned.Position Requirements (Advanced level for all the following)Knowledge of networking (copper and fiber optic) systems, cabling, and componentsKnowledge of Audio Visual (AV), Access Control and CCTV systems and componentsSkilled at using AutoCAD, Revit Computer Aided Design toolsSkilled at using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), along with exceptional organizational skills for file managementSkilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detailAbility to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, optimize operational processes, and contribute to company‑wide innovationAbility to follow company and site safety requirementsAbility to analyze and prepare documents, reports and correspondenceAbility to communicate effectively in both oral and written form (technical and non‑technical information)Ability to communicate effectively directly with clients and at times serve as primary point of client contactAbility to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with moderate supervisionAbility to work under pressure and meet close deadlinesOrganizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work successfully in a remote environment through effective communication and organizational skills, self‑motivation, proactiveness and resourcefulness in a distraction‑free workspaceAbility to work in interdepartmental groupsPhysical Demands The following physical demands must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
