With about 40,000 employees, Duke is the third largest private employer in North Carolina, and it now has international programs in more than 150 countries.Job DescriptionOccupational Summary:The Duke Center for International Development offers a number of short-term, professional development programs annually to mid-career professionals from developing and transitional countries.A Detailed Description Of Functional Areas And Tasks Follows: Assist departmental staff with coding in STATA and will update the repeated cross-sections of the PCI Domes tic, PCI Foreign, and PAPI data from 2022, 2023, and 2024. The individual will need to include the common questions, industry codes, and GIS locations found in the data collected between 2004-2021.Specific Tasks: Knowledge of the Vietnamese economy particularly the small and medium-sized enterprise sector Quantitative statistical skills STATA programming skills Knowledge of the Vietnamese language Familiarity with Vietnamese data sources, especially the PCI, Enterprise Census, and industrial codes Familiarity with spatial data analysis and geolocation.The above statements describe the general nature and level of work performed by the position assigned to this classification.
