Surgery - Thoracic Physician

We are seeking Cardiothoracic Surgeons to provide ongoing part-time locum coverage in Maryland. This role supports hospital-based CT surgery services with specific scheduled call weeks and ongoing monthly availability.Position DetailsOngoing need 1 week or long weekend/month24-hour (7a 7a) or 12-hour (7a 7p) call shiftsAverage 1-3 cases a day1-3 admissions per shiftEMR: MeditechResponsibilitiesRounding with PA each morning (2 4 hours, depending on surgical volume)Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgeryPerform urgent/emergent cardiothoracic procedures as neededReview consults initiated by PAs and determine next stepsManage open-heart, carotid, and occasional lung casesRequirementsBoard Certified or Eligible in Cardiac or Cardiothoracic SurgeryActive Maryland Medical LicenseDEA and CSR requiredMinimum Experience: 2 yearsTo apply or learn more, please contact us with your CV and availability.
