Security Coordinator 1

We are seeking a Security Coordinator to support secure facility operations by providing professional security escorting services for uncleared personnel working in designated access‐controlled spaces. This role is critical in maintaining strict adherence to security protocols and ensuring the protection of sensitive work environments.This is an on‐call, part‐time position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and mission‐focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEscort and visually monitor uncleared personnel within approved work areas.Remain physically present, alert, and attentive to all activities throughout escort duration.Enforce access restrictions and prevent unauthorized entry into controlled spaces.Interact professionally with internal staff, external contractors, and security personnel.Monitor movement and activities to ensure no security protocols are breached.Immediately report any suspected or actual security violations.Report any accidents, injuries, or safety concerns to designated security representatives.Basic QualificationsU.S. Citizenship (required).Active TS/SCI clearance; SCI with polygraph required per business needs.Prior security escort experience.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Preferred QualificationsActive TS/SCI with polygraph.DoD security clearance experience.Ability to climb ladders as required.Two (2) years of general security experience.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Redondo Beach, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.50/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
