Treasurer
We are looking for an accomplished Treasurer to lead enterprise-wide treasury strategy and provide strong oversight of liquidity, banking, and capital deployment activities in Houston, Texas. This role will guide cash planning, strengthen financial controls, and support funding decisions across a complex multi-entity environment. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in corporate treasury operations, banking relationships, and risk management, along with the ability to partner effectively with finance, tax, legal, payroll, and technology teams.Responsibilities:• Direct daily oversight of cash balances and movements across a broad network of domestic and international bank accounts to maintain accurate visibility into available funds.• Build and refine short-term and long-range cash forecasts to support operating needs, strategic investments, and stakeholder distributions.• Drive liquidity planning and working capital strategies that preserve financial flexibility while supporting business growth and ongoing obligations.• Coordinate intercompany funding activities and align entity-level cash needs across the organization.• Lead treasury work related to transitioning to a new primary banking partner, including account setup and closure, service implementation, access updates, and cross-functional coordination.• Manage banking partners and treasury vendors, while negotiating service arrangements, fee schedules, and credit-related terms.• Oversee distribution execution and capital allocation analysis to balance liquidity needs, debt priorities, and investment opportunities.• Administer the corporate purchasing card program by setting controls, monitoring usage patterns, improving compliance, and reinforcing fraud prevention measures.• Manage short-term investments in line with approved policies, monitor market conditions, and report portfolio performance and risk exposure to leadership.• Maintain treasury controls, support audits and compliance activities, oversee debt covenant reporting, and advance automation and payment security initiatives.• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.• Credentials such as Certified Treasury designation, CPA, CFA, or similar certifications are considered advantageous.• At least 10 years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, banking, or financial risk management is required.• Demonstrated success working in a multi-entity operating environment, ideally within healthcare or a similarly complex organization.• Strong command of cash management, liquidity forecasting, debt oversight, banking operations, and capital management practices.• Experience with treasury systems, financial software, internal controls, and payment security processes is preferred.• Ability to collaborate across accounting, accounts payable, payroll, IT, legal, tax, and executive leadership teams.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
