With the help of our extensive database of internal candidates and CATS applicants tracking system, we can provide quality resources within the limited time frame.Job DescriptionDuties:Work effectively with the established state office team to execute a membership engagement plan for the Black Hills regionWork in collaboration with the state office team on outreach activities, community events and projects to further the goals of AARPRecruits, orients, and trains volunteersMeet with organizational and local stakeholders to represent AARPRecruit and cultivate volunteer leadersDevelop, refine, and help lead trainings for member volunteersCoordinate and participate in all aspects of volunteer activities including meetings, trainings, and eventsSupport the collection and input of all data and report defined metricsWork with leadership to refine program tactics and adjust methods as neededQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a Social Science, Public Health or Education. Minimum 5 years of work experience with constituents and the public, preferably with political, advocacy, or public health campaignsAbility to learn quicklyGood communication skillsAbility to build and maintain relationships with staff, stakeholders, and volunteersMetrics-driven approach to planning, evaluating, and reporting on workAbility to occasionally work evenings or weekends and travel as neededMust be proficient working with computer technology and databasesExperience working with volunteers and the Black Hills region is a plusAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
