Job DetailsDescriptionEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Respond to visual and oral signals from customers and fellow employees.Pitch cards, handle money efficiently, and professionally handle chips.Conduct gambling games such as Blackjack, Craps, or Roulette, following all applicable rules and regulations.Manipulate cards, chips, and gaming devices such as roulette wheels and craps sticks accurately. Keep track of the game and players’ actions.Perform quick basic math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, to accept bets, pay winners, and collect from losers.Responsible for the protection and control of the game being dealt and notifying the Pit Supervisor of any irregularities.Maintain a superior and courteous atmosphere, providing the customer with a pleasant gaming experience.Advise Pit Supervisor of any player disputes or arguments that may arise during the game and of any important relevant factors regarding specific players. Assist customers in playing and ensure adherence to established rules, policies, and procedures. Maintain effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all guests and employees. Provides personal attention and assistance to customers by verifying customer winnings and explaining gaming rules and regulations. Acts to keep customers satisfied and motivated to return, regardless of whether they win or lose.Wears and maintains all uniforms properly, including nametag and gaming license.Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities and a general awareness of casino operations at all times. Verifies customers are 21 years of age or older.Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, internal policies and procedures, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations. Includes special attention to underage gaming as well as recommendations to Table Games Supervisors in reference to alcohol consumption by patrons.Works and performs dual-rate supervisor duties. This includes monitoring game play and settling customer disputes professionally and courteously.Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.Qualification RequirementsMust be able to stand for an entire work shift with standard breaks.Demonstrated working knowledge of Table Games, and dexterity with table games equipment.Possesses excellent customer service skills and upholds 4-star standards.Demonstrated ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Education And/Or ExperienceGraduation from high school or equivalent.Graduation from Dealer School or equivalent is desired. Must have experience dealing Blackjack in some capacity.Prefer experience as a dealer dealing Roulette or Craps. Demonstrated knowledge of casino operations, gaming rules, and regulations.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License.
