Our team consists of 20 BC Emergency Medicine physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Professionals. 50,000-60,000 visits per year with fast track. Our two emergency departments are a Level III Trauma facility that consists of 36 beds downtown and 20 beds at South Campus plus we have 35 subspecialties. Hospital is locally owned, governed, and not-for-profit organization. We are the sole healthcare system in San Angelo and surrounding cities.In this role, Emergency Medicine physicians must evaluate a wide variety of ailments, sometimes with little to no information. They must be able to think and act quickly to make a tentative diagnosis and determine the appropriate course of treatment.
