Day.Aspirus Rhinelander YMCA in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT to join our THERAPY team!The Physical Therapist Assistant carries outpatient and inpatient treatment procedures for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients under the guidance and general supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT).HOURS: 1.0 FTE/80 hours every two weeks working primarily day shift hours, Monday-FridayExperience/QualificationsKnowledge of occupational therapy standards and practices normally acquired through completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.Post graduate education in patient treatment techniques and experience in general physical therapy treatment beneficial.State of Wisconsin PTA licensureCurrent BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
