Scrum Master (TS/SCI clearance)

Job Description:A growing professional services organization is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile software development initiatives. This role is responsible for guiding cross-functional teams in Agile best practices, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and ensuring effective collaboration between stakeholders and development teams.The Scrum Master will play a key role in promoting continuous improvement, removing obstacles, and helping teams deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment. This position requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and experience working within structured development lifecycles.Key Responsibilities:Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectivesCoach teams on Agile methodologies and ensure adherence to Scrum principlesSupport Product Owners with backlog refinement, prioritization, and user story developmentIdentify and remove impediments to team progressFoster a collaborative and high-performing team environmentUtilize tools such as JIRA and Confluence to track progress and maintain documentationEnsure alignment with software development lifecycle processes and evolving requirementsRequired Qualifications:U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearanceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience serving as a Scrum MasterActive TS/SCI security clearanceCertified Scrum Master (CSM) certificationStrong understanding of Agile frameworks and software development lifecycleExperience with Agile practices such as user stories, continuous integration/testing, and backlog managementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM) certificationKey Skills Required:Agile coaching and facilitationCommunication and stakeholder managementProblem-solving and adaptabilityJIRA and Confluence proficiency
