Sales Counter Customer Service Rep
Job Overview
We are seeking a Customer Service/Sales Representative to join our team in the building supply industry. The ideal candidate will have a background in product/ services information, write orders, schedule deliveries, answer phones ,assist customer with product selection, must be able to work in a fast pace environment to keep up with contractor and residential sales needs.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, orders, and product information.
- Handle transactions accurately.
- Manage large amount of incoming calls.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
- Organization and ability to prioritize duties needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales or customer relations preferred.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening .
- Ability to multi-task .
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Proficiency in basic math for accurate transactions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
