Unit Notes ***** auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax - you are able re-add that back in.** Unit Endoscopy.GI Lab # suites 2 Ratios 1:2 or 1:3 Required Certifications BLS, ACLS Required Duties:* Admit (procedures every 30-45 minutes)* Recovery: Phase II (post propofol sedation, no intubated patients)* Documentation (Epic, Provation)* Procedure assist - can be avoided if more training would be required* Conscious Sedation is reserved for after hours/weekend cases (not necessary for this position)* Includes some bedside procedures on inpatients" Common Cases Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS Experience or 'Must have' skills Peripheral IV starts Preferred skills This location supports advanced procedures. Experience with ERCP and EUS assisting is ideal but not required Charge Nurse/House Supervisor None Are there techs or nurse aids in this department Endoscopy Techs mostly support Scope Room areas RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) None Shifts & Scheduling 10 hour shifts, Mon - Fri; common start times: 0600, 0630, 0700, 0730 Weeknight/Call Requirement None - but could be available Weekend/Call Requirement None - but could be available Holiday/Call Requirement None - but could be available Is there a mandatory call/standby requirement?
