DescriptionNuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA. Awarded Healthgrades' Patient Safety Excellence Award for 2024 and America's 50 Best Hospitals for Vascular Surgery Award in 2025, we provide exceptional patient care with a commitment to excellence.Under the indirect supervision of the attending physicians, performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The Nuclear Medicine Technologists maps radiopharmaceuticals using a camera, measures radioactivity using Geiger counters, monitors wipe tests and dose calibrations, and administers radionuclide dosages. This position reports to the department Manager or Director of Imaging Services and is responsible for observing all radiation safety regulatory requirements.Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they're invaluable.
