Family Medicine Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at FQHC in Chicago, Illinois

December - 3 Or 6 Months Call Ratio/ScheduleAn FQHC is seeking a family medicine physician for locum tenens coverage. Now you may have heard of the bean at Millennium Park in Chicago, but have you been to the first-ever original deep dish pizza restaurant, Pizzeria Uno? Before leaving Chicago, make sure to walk around the Navy Pier as well for all kinds of sights and attractions. This assignment starts in either November or December, with flexibility for both, and runs until June 2025. The credentialing process takes 2 to 3 weeks. The schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.), but part-time or a 4-day work week may also be considered. You'll work with patients of all ages, so you must be comfortable treating both children and adults. An Illinois license and DEA/CSR are required, and while COVID or flu vaccinations are preferred, they are not mandatory. The role includes RN and MA support, and youll never be the sole provider unless someone is unexpectedly out. The EMR system used is Athena, and candidates must be fluent in Spanish.
