Your responsibilities will include assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, as well as learning to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about learning and eager to start a rewarding career in the electrical field.Key Responsibilities and Essential Tasks:Serves as an ambassador for Rex MoorePrioritizing and planning of assigned service assignmentsCommunicating updates associated with assigned service assignmentsEscalating problems when appropriateInteracting in a professional manner with customers to foster positive relationshipsPlanning, developing and procuring a complete material list for service assignmentsPerforming surveys on prospective work by collecting information, taking pictures and developing material listScheduled and/or unscheduled overtime work and callouts are to be expectedPerform preventative and predictive electrical maintenance to maintain equipment integrityInspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, switch gear and panelboardsDiagnose and resolve problems in electrical circuits, lighting systems and equipment using testing instruments and equipmentWhat's in it for You?We're growing and need people excited about honing their craft and developing their career. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Frequently exposed to vibrations, moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, machines, dust and chemicals. May be required to function in crawl spaces, shafts, man holes, small enclosed rooms, and other areas of close proximity.
