The base salary range for this position in as for the job description criteria as listed is $115,000 to $140,0000 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. Where an individual's pay falls within the range is determined by factors including, but not limited to, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
In some cases, compensation may fall outside of this range depending on factors, including a candidate's qualification, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
Position Overview: EcoServices is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations, drive equipment reliability, and support a strong safety culture in a high-hazard, fast-paced chemical environment. This is a hands-on leadership role supporting production, maintenance craftsmen, storeroom personnel, and utility technicians across the site.
What You Will Be Doing:
Supervisors have total responsibility for the area under their jurisdiction including HSSE, Quality, Emergency Response, OJT training, and issuing routine permits
Ensure equipment reliability by following good maintenance practices in repairs, inspections, preventive and predictive maintenance and proper standards for new equipment installation
Act as a liaison between maintenance and production ensuring schedules, lockout/tagout readiness, and conflict resolution
Provide daily supervision to maintenance craftsmen, storeroom operator(s) and utility technicians
Manage the work order backlog and safety backlog items
Support and maintain maintenance management systems and work processes
Coordinate work activities from the maintenance schedule and prioritize safety- or production-critical work
Provide technical input and support to ensure safe and efficient work execution
Oversee storeroom operations including materials issues, parts inventory, and improvement of storeroom functions
Oversee utility technicians and ensure completion of site inspections, audits and general tasks
Optimize storeroom inventory and support consolidation of storage facilities
Ensure department personnel are properly trained, equipped and compliant with PPE, procedures and HSE expectations
Participate in incident investigations, corrective measures, and administrative duties including timecards, vacation scheduling and discipline
Provide off-hours supervision as required (on-call duty supervisor)
Support engineering with job procedures, resource allocation and project work
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of Welding, Pipefitting and Millwright, with multiple certs a plus
Minimum of 8 years experience in Refining, Petrochemical or Specialty Chemicals Mechanical Maintenance
Working knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance and maintenance planning/scheduling
Experience supervising maintenance craftsmen or technical personnel
Strong understanding of EHS, PSM and contractor safety programs
Ability to wear a full-face respirator
Ability to coordinate LOTO, work permits and safety backlog activities
Experience with inventory, storeroom, or parts/material management
Ability to communicate hazards, expectations and safety requirements clearly
High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years personnel supervision experience
CMMS experience a plus
